Greetings,

Ok, then which drivers are the most stable and problem free for windows 98SE regarding the 5500 AGP.

The games I would play are Tomb Raider Glide, Need For Speed 2 SE Glide, System Shock 2, Redguard and some DOS games such as System Shock 1 or Gabriel Knight.

What are your experiences or thoughts?

Thank you.

Greetings,

For a Voodoo 5500 AGP, which are the most stable drivers (balanced between stability and performance). The card will be used for playing games on windows 98SE made before 2001. Games such as System Shock 1 & 2 and Elder Scrolls Red Guard also Tomb Raider 1 Glide. I am interested in wide range of compatibility with older games (including DOS glide games), nothing new.

Thank you.

Greetings,

On more questions:

In windows 98SE, can I use a PCI V5500 and an AGP NVIDIA both in the system, without disabling either one from the system menu? Meaning leaning them both enabled in windows as separate adapters?

Thank you.

Greetings

I saw Voodoo 5500 PCI on eBay (apparently for PC) with a DVI and analog connection. Is that possible? The ad maintained it was government sur-plus and that they did not know if it worked or not. Could it have been a Mac version? I have never seen a PC version with a DVI connection, not in retail anyway.

In your opinion, for a windows 98 SE system (Dell optyplex 150 tower, 256 Mb ram) that is meant only for playing games (dos and win 98 games) which will be better the PCI or AGP version of the 5500 ?

Thank you.
