Title: TV with Windows XP
Post by: CalvinSays on 06 January 2003, 22:06:57
First of all thanks for the drivers, you have saved my card from the rubbish bin.

I'm trying to get the TV working but it says it requires WebTV which as far as I can find was only for Windows 98. Am I doing something wrong? I installed AmigaSport XP Voodoo 3500 TV.

Regards
Brian

Seems to me that WebTV was for the US version

I found out the problem, it was because I was loading in the Visual Reality software from the original disk. I should have downloaded the Visual Reality software from this site, which I've done and it appears to work fine.

I'm in need of some help - took a working STB tvpci card from another machine (Win98) and installed in an P4 processor Win XP machine.  Drivers seemed to install fine, installed Visual Reality (not downloaded from here, where is it on this site??) and the program opens with a blank TV screen and freezes.  Any ideas how I can use this card?

Thanks for your help!

^I have a feeling that you're not using a voodoo card with the TV card. When I upgraded to my Radeon, Visual Reality "played" sound but everything else froze. I used the beta 3 drivers for windows 2k (from NuAngel's site), and Dscaler. It should work fine after that.

Hi all. Just bought a VoodooTV card from a neighbor. My system identifies it as PCI Multimedeia Device and a benchmark program I ran pointed me to 3dfxzone. Can anyone get me started by suggesting some drivers/programs to make this thing work. I downloaded the AMCAP.EXE file from the Italian site but it says Cannot Be Run In DOS Mode...even though I'm running it from Win98SE. Help, someone(this is my 1st 3dfx card)

First off, there is nothing special about the Voodootv, as in it has no special 3dfx tech, heck, there is NO 3dfx tech in the VoodooTV.

First off, get http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/g/e/gec125/NuDrivers/vtvdrivers.zip

Then after intalling those drivers, restart, and then go to this http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/download.html and download the drivers; version 5.3.6 binaries.
After that, go http://deinterlace.sourceforge.net/downloads.htm and download the alpha version. And enjoy!
