Title: Banshee issue..
Post by: Or1on on 17 March 2005, 09:23:31
Feeling a little guilty about my Banshee not being used I threw it in for testing. I'm using the Evolution 0.9 drivers. When I run Quake 3: Arena it chugs with no apparent fps drop. Often graphics will look oddly rendered for a second or so. I average about 85-90fps. I'm using an Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz, 512DDR RAM, 120GB HDD and I'm running Windows XP Professional. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

It's Banshee section in this forum, so you should ask Raziel64 directly when regarding the stability/issues with the Evolution drivers. For choppy performance, well, remember that Banshee has no multitexture support, so don't expect too much (some games even refuse to launch). If it's Mesa GL driver that makes you trouble with Q3, try at the appropriate section also available. Regards, Ent.
