I have installed V-Rally 3, because the full version was on the pc games dvd and it performes really nice with my voodoo 5 and the amigamerlin 3.1 r11 drivers. the game is dx 9 and runs very smooth.
If you can describe your machine and the settings used in the game...
and what does the game need "in theory" ;)

512 MB DDR
Windows 2000
...
The Game is from 2003. I don't know what it really needs, but it needs dx 9 at least...
I am able to play it with 1024x768@32bit and textures at low.
