So that's a nice total of 19 Voodoo's. About those Velocity's, I haven't found them yet.
And My Favourites are:
1. 3dfx Voodoo3 3500 TV AGP 16MB at first place, because you can do everything
with it even watch the telly!:)
2. 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 PCI 64MB Always nice to use it next to my main Video Card.
3. 3dfx Voodoo Rush PCI 6MB, this is a very complete sample of this Voodoo Rush
based card, it has of course the CRT-Out, but Also 2 TV-Outs, 1x S/Video + 1x
Compsite + an extra Stereo In for you 3D VR Headset!!!! How complete can they
really be.[8D]
4. 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP 64MB Oh wel had a lot f fun with it and I still am useing
it, in my main 3dfx fragging machine.

Yes, most of the cards I got of ebay, although the V5-5000 was bought from a x3dfx forum member, without an auction.
Well, as far as I know there are 2 known types of daytona cards, the V4-2 4200 was PCI ( has also a DVI port ) and the V4-4800 was AGP ( has TV-Out and LCD support ).

well yes, the Voodoo3 3500 TV AGP is indeed a greay device and it's not for nothing my
BIG FAVOURITE of the 3dfx Voodoo's ever:).
You can do almost everything with it like:
1. play games with it, it's the fastest Voodoo3 based card available.
2. Watch the telly with it, it has a max 125 Channels!
3. The 3dfx Voodoo3 3500 TV AGP 16MB is also very good with Video editing, like makeing your own home video's and diverting them into MPEG2.
4. You can also connect your Digital Camera or Video Camera and edit your main movie files.
5. This card is simply the best thing that 3dfx ever invented and actually it is 3dfx's first and last All-In-Wonder Card , and it is a shame that they didn't bring a Voodoo4 & Voodoo5 All-In-Wonder type card like the amzing [^]3dfx Voodoo3 3500 TV AGP 16MB[^], and of course time was running short on the Rampage Project.
The only thing is that wonders me is that there are a few questions drifting in my head for years and so here they are:
1. Is there also a PCI version of the Voodoo3 3500[?]
2. Is the Voodoo3 4000 a hoax[?]
3. As for Voodoo4 4000 there isn't much proof or evidence on that type isn't there[?]
4. Was ther also a 3dfx Voodoo5 6000 PCI 128MB Planned[?]
I just wonder if there are true answers to these mystery questions [8)]

I don't believe that 3dfx actually ever planned any sort of AIW series of cards, they expected the 3500 to keep performing well as their only TV Tuner card (aside from dedicaated tuner cards)

Well gotta say something ebay is a great place to be indeed, but I prefer Marktplaats.nl, got 27 3dfx Voodoo's now, and bought about 14 of the 27 there :)and only 2 of the 27 at ebay, 4 of the 27 at JOOS Computers & Componenten, the local Computer store :), 1 in France in a place called Annecy, 1 from a 3dfx friend and I recieved 5 for free from friends.

But what I wanted to ask you was, what kind of brand does your Memory chips have. And does somebody know where to get Edo-ram, I mean the chips not the complete modules. They used them for Graphics cards and so. If someone knows a place of a company that still makes them???
Or knows a card that is uses 110/125mhz Edo-ram (not the Voodoo2).
Well the Memory brand on my Skywell Technologies Magic 3DII PLuS 24MB is: Ellete MT @ 100Mhz
and from my Skywell Technologies Magic 3D 4MB is: tm tech 100Mhz
Well than I am happy. because EliteMT still excist. Silicon Magic doesn't exist any more [V]. My Maxi Gamer2 have also EliteMT memory.
Know I now where to search, maybe they also make/made 125mhz models.
I will just have to try to get a pair of those chips, and build them on my voodoo2's (people this is possible). And than I can reach maybe 130mhz!!!!!! Which proper cooling offcourse.

Well it also depends on your Voodoo2 Chips them selves, if they can't cope higher that 100Mhz it's not going to be usefull. The highest I came with my Dual Skywell Technologies Voodoo2 12MB's was 120Mhz parallel, that was as for the cores as the mem. [synchroom]
I know from a couple of sources, that there are only 1 type of voodoo2 chip. It is not like a Athlon XP that there are superior steppings. Even the never to be released Revision 3 voodoo2 boards would have used the same voodoo2 chips. It all depends on the memory for overclocking or cooling. I have never heard or got an idea that there where better Voodoo2 chips. 3Dfx has never done this from which I heard. Even with the voodoo1 which suffered of extreme heat, they never made any revisions. The only improvement that I know of is the VSA-101 but that it is a revisions is clear to see in the name. From what I know of there is no superior Voodoo2 chip. It all lays back on the memory speed, The highest overclock that I got with 120mm cooling no heatsinks was 117mhz, that's the limit of the memory. I CAN run it stable on 110mhz!!!!!!!! (no joke). Also your voodoo2's and Mine are based on the reference design, but only one uses faster memory. but is stil a reference design. Revision 3 would just be a voodoo2 board with faster memory nothing more (125mhz used on the Mercury).

How do you figure?
The V3 is a standard card and the V5 is an early model which won't clock beyond 175MHz. Nothing good about that :P
- This is a Voodoo3 and seems to me that this card was probably faster than a TNT in 16 bits
- I own several Voodoo5's in different revisions but i don't o/c them ;)

Well it's a V4500 agpx4 which came with Hyundai ram.
Now iv'e found another card that has the exact same ram (same serial# same speed etc')(a geforce actually.. lol) and took it off that one -> put it in the empty slots of the V4.
Now i just have to figure out how to activate the extra chips on the bios :)

hmm, sounds like you're gonna hafta mod the BIOS. I think 3dfx (or another source) released the source from the BIOSes a while back

The later revisions of the voodoo bioses are already programmed for memory up to 128 MB. So the bios should detect the additional memory automaticly. Another question is, if the bios can use it. I remember a picture that Hank posted, there was an additional soldering needed for the expanded memory...

The Voodoo2 SLi sets are located in the top right hand coner, the top one is 2x Diamond Monster3D II Voodoo2 8MB SLi set and under that is the 2x Skywell Technologies Magic3D II PLuS! Voodoo2 12MB SLi set.
27 cards is enough for me, I don't have any more room for more IKEA Glass Top Tables :D
The VoodooMAC 4500 PCI 32MB + DVI Rev 3700 A and the VoodooTV FM PCI Rev 3300 A0 are still in thier Retail boxes.
And one of the 5500 AGP's is in my 3dfx Gam'n rig ;) add those three to the 24 in the IKEA Glass Top Table, and 27 cards is the result.

There is a company in germany that stills sells them for 75 Euro each.

Yeah maybe, but will every 3dfx Glide game run on them?

Well I've tried StarWars Racer under Win2K Pro but it didn't work at all [:(] I suppose Win2K Pro [NT5] is likely the same as NT4?
Even old games like Turok 1&2 didn't cope either.
So I'll keep it with Win98 SE for Glide games, it's still the best OS for Glide games, in my experience.
To have one of those Quantum 3D machines for the collection is another matter ofcourse. They are a dream to nearly every 3dfx Fan around here. Well I rather collect the Original 3dfx Designs, I already own 27 of them. Every 3dfx Fan has thier own taste of choice.

I recently have received a quite strange card. I personally haven't seen it before. It's the latest card in my collection. A Voodoo 1 Rush 8 (!) MB. It has a longer PCB than a Voodoo 5 5500 AGP. It also has got 4 slot's to put extra memory in. It also has an MX Chip for the 2d. I'll search for a photograph. :P
