Thanks for the feedback !
My pcie adapter will arrive today so that i will test him with the newest sfft 1.7 driver.
I'm curious to see the results from the agp2pci adapter!

@m14radu :

I test my 3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 PCI ( @ default 166 mhz ) with all adaptors.

---------------------------------------------------
My spec : Maximus 4 Extreme, Intel 2600k @ 3,4 Ghz.
Drivers : Koolsmoky beta and Sfft 1.7
Operating System : Windows Xp Pro Sp3
---------------------------------------------------

3dmark2001se results :

With Beta koolsmoky Drivers :

- Supermicro adaptor :  3620 marks  ( 66 mhz )

- Pericom adaptor    :  3487 marks  ( 66 mhz )

- PLX adaptor        :  3116 marks  ( 33 mhz )

With Sfft 1.7 Drivers :

Sfft Configurator : DDI 9 + Enable Tripple Buffer

* Supermicro adaptor : 3359 marks

* Pericom adaptor    : 3147 marks

* PLX adaptor        : 2899 marks

The best adaptor is Supermicro ( PCI-X support ). ;)

Any questions ?

Please test the sfft 1.7 with all pcie adapters for a better overwiev( not only supermicro)
Also please look if the agp2pci adapter is running well with the new sfft driver release.

Thanks Mradu14, It took just ten minutes to organize data from my screenshots on a matrix.
I like your work with the drivers and the games too :)
I didn't know UT 2003 and 2004 could run on our 3dfx, I would try that !

So disabling triple buffering adds about 100 to the score, which is about what I expected. The DDI version number set < 9 should change the image that is rendered not the performance. The change is in the Car Chase high detail test when going round the first bend. When DD = 9 the data should be rendered correctly.
You need to change the DDI version number to 8 not 7 to see a difference DDI = 9 and DDI = 7 give the same result DDI = 8 gives a different result.
