My old computer has died and I've come by a dell server PC (2.4Ghz, 512 RAM) - the idea being it's rock solid so I can't kill it!

Unfortunately it doesn't have an AGP slot at all so I'm going to be restricted to a PCI Graphics Card.

What do people reckon is the best PCI graphics card to get? I guess price isn't going to be too much of an issue seeing they'll all be out of date but I wouldn't want to spend more than, say,  £150. Will the card be able to support the most recent games (doom 3?)?

Would a GeForce2 MX400 64MB DDR PCI be able to run the latest games (e.g. Max Payne 2, Deus Ex Invisible War)?

Woud this be true of all PCI graphics cards?

I have a voodoo 4500 AGP card and was wondering if it was possible to run recent games on it e.g. Max Payne 2, Deus Ex Invisible War (when it comes out) - I guess this means can it support Directx9?

I believe I'm right in thinking that there's no actual support for my card anymore. But are there 3rd-party drivers that will allow my card to cope with recent games?
