Title: Monster 3DII
Post by: OldFart on 29 April 2005, 03:41:37
Hi: Old Fart here, wondering from all u ace computer whiz's. I have an antiquated system 300 mhz 384mb ram system. Just plugged in a 160 Gig hard drive, have a Nvidia video card and a Monster 3D II. Can I
load Windows XP pro and both cards work or am I limited to win98?
Thanks for the input and apologize if this is a repetitive question, I'm new to this site. Thanks

Welcome to the site.

Are you trying to tell us you actually got a old 300MHz system to correctly ID a 160Gb HD? That in itself is an achievement.

You can run WinXP on that system. A friend is running WinXP on a Pent 200 MMX w/512Mb RAM. Windows takes a while to load but once the system is up, it runs fine.

:D Holy :D

I ran Windows Xp on a overclocked p200 mmx (@ 250). With enough memory, it'll run fine.
