yepp it works i will later confirm that it works on a V3 and maybe V2(SLI) aswell if i have the time. but on those specs i only think opengl will be possible, atleast on the V2, V3 may still be able to run it under DX.

These are the files i used to make it run and i ran it from a network drive had some problems with the game on a local drive. (realy dont know why)

KernelEx-4.0-RC2.exe  ###it makes some xp software work on Windows 98
Raziel64-Evolution-1.00.09_v45_w9x.exe
GLIDE3X.DLL 3.10.0.40404 *BETA*
Opengl32.dll 6.2.0.1 ###Mesa 6.x (Doom3 version)

02 December 2008, 22:41:38
Lets get a up to date working game list for all our voodoo's,no games older then 2000 plz,  just post GAME NAME , API ,DRIVERS and SYSTEM SPEC, also some instructions(howto) might help if its tricky to make the game run well. lets try make this list as complet as possible. im not asking for a glide compatible list we already have tones of those. im asking for games that are able to run decently using our old Voodoo cards.

30 November 2008, 15:01:47
Hi all, im trying to get the Ut3 demo running on a voodoo 4. i first installd it on my main comp and saw that the setting culd be lowerd all the way down to 320*200 and thaut hmm.... that shuld be low enuff to fit in the ram of a voodoo4. so here is the deal the comp my V4 4500 is in have just above 512 of ram a 2,4ghz@ 1.77 <--- the mobo max. and its running xpsp2. can you all voodoo4 or 5 users try getting this game to work. remember the first Unreal games where writen for glide. so lets hope the ut3 team had us in mind.

Games / World of Warcraft on Voodoo2 Sli
15 September 2008, 15:37:51
Hi my first goal was to get wow running on a voodoo3 and by the time now i have posted boath images and a basic instruction how to do it. my second goal after that was trying to get a missmatched voodoo2 in Xp working. using mesa drivers i can now present World of warcraft TBc on Missmatched Voodoo2 Sli. i got a low but stable 4 fps using one card i got 1 fps ,, not mutch att all but this it where the Tweaking starts. im counting on a almost to playable 9 - 11fps on 2 cards when im done, and yes a picture is on its way. im at work right now, so pictures tomorrow or later to night. And MESA rocks. keep up the good work all.

MesaFX / Wow TBC working on Voodoo3 3000
28 May 2008, 09:36:47
open gl mode use "wow.exe -opengl" mesa 6.2 drivers in wow folder. and i used amigamerlin drivers dont know if thats significant but still. only 256 mb ram and 1.7 ghz running with 14fps some minor bugs but realy playable. actionbar misses textures and the minimap can flicker some. but just close the minimap and thats solved.

im running in windows 98 so patching wow to 2.4.2 is quite hard but just rename the patch files to .mpq and use the installer file from the latest wow tbc patch u can use in win98. you can find the installer files in the temp folder wile patching. and you will need kex drivers as well its a kernel32 patch. so you add some xp compability to win98.

Hi all , i got Wow tbc running in opengl mode on a comp with a old voodoo3 and win 98. using mesa 6.2 and amigamerlin. and best of all its playable the only significant bug is that the actionbar buttons downt have anny textures.(the actionbars where fixed using software rescaling some items(in the bags or actionbars) will get disstorded textures when using this metod) but thats it , The minimap can act up some times but its just to close it and its gone. its running on a 1.7 ghz athlon with 512mb ram,. getting around 15 fps after some tweaks. but keep detail bias -2 for good looking grafics.
