Title: FastVoodoo2 4.6 at 1024x768 85Hz?
Post by: ledgema on 10 October 2010, 10:42:33
Hi, I'm trying to build a Windows 98 legacy computer with using two Voodoo2 cards, a Maxi Gamer2 and a V2-1000, in SLI mode.  I've installed the FastVoodoo2 4.6 drivers but I'm unable to set the resolution to 1024x768 and the refresh to 85Hz.  The sliders keep defaulting back to 640x480 with a refresh rate of 85Hz.  I have read somewhere at 3dfxzone that it the resolution and refresh rate needs to be set by running the registry file for your desired resolution and refresh rate.  I've tried running the registry file to set the resolution to 1024x768 with a refresh of 85Hz but Windows reports that the file is not a registry script.  Since I can't use the registry files, how can I set the resolution to 1024x768 with a refresh rate of 85Hz?
