I'm trying to run a Diamond Monster 3D with my dual Diamond Monster 3DII's and the 2...2's are beating the 1. I know there is only a matter of files needing to be switched so the other card can be called, but after switching and then finally just replacing all my Voodoo2 drivers with the Voodoo1's, I'm still having issues. Everytime I try to run something in glide, I get 1 of 2 results:

1. Strange Block pattern of a certain color. This pattern is the same in each program that results in this, but each program has a different color of blocks.

2. The old 3DFX logo in the distance, so to speak, but it's stuck and the program is locked up.

Actually, between both situations, the program has locked up. I've only once had the program actual work, but it has since stopped (a 3DFX torus demo, the 2x worked.)

Any ideas?

-Running Windows XP with official 3DFX released Windows 2000 drivers.
-Voodoo2's run great with no problems at all
-Looking for a glide switcher that'll work in XP

General Discussions / Reset/turn off voodoo(s)

I have 2 Voodoo2's in SLI and a Voodoo1 that the V2's pass through. I sometimes have glide programs crash on me and the video gets stuck - the Voodoo doesn't pass the video from my main video card through anymore. I can restart to fix this, but it's bothersome. Is there a command or program that can reset the Voodoos?

BTW, in case it matters, I'm running Windows XP.

Hi. I just put in dual Diamond Monster Voodoo2's in SLI in my computer and installed the FastVoodoo2 4.0 XP Gold Edition drivers. All seems in order (Cards show up in device manager, v2-1000 tab in display properties, including info page showing 0's and what not...) The demos that came with the drivers work perfectly, but I can't get anything else save one Winamp plugin to run. Everything else throws a "grSstWinOpen: need to use a valid window handle" error and closes. (Everything else = Ultima 9, all Winamp plugins excluding 1, Rollcage 1&2, Red Baron 3D,  and Metal Fatigue)

My system:
Asus A7V8X
Athlon XP 1800+
512 DDR 266
Geforce 4 Ti4200 AGP8X
Dual Diamond V2's (8 or 12MB?) in SLI
Windows XP SP1 (DX9.0b)

Help...?
