ok,loaded the fast v2 drivers ,minigl, when I run glquake get error message "grtex download mip map: mipmap cannot span 2mbyte boundry. Quake won't load. Help please

maybe you should limit texture memory to 2MB

seems like there is something wrong with your glide files.check here (http://helppage.3dfx.sk/#SLIdrivers) for recommended drivers&glide libraries.

first thing,you should try to overwrite your glide2x.dll (windows/system32 folder in xp and windows/system in win9x) with this one (http://www.3dfx.cz/download/glide2x_radeon.zip).see if that helps,if not,try the recommended drivers.

posting your full system specs would be a good idea as well.

system
winxp home edition
256 meg ram
voodoo rush display voodoo 2 3dfx board
amdk6-2 400
old system I built in 96. Great motherboard asus p5a, ran q1 20 frames faster than other boards.
Your raedon driver for system 32 did the trick. FV2 driver for win32 would not work wqith my system.

are you usingwickedgl?sometimes using it I got that msg I think..with that system why don't you use 98se?
