the latest koolsmoky's glide should run under win98 with no problems,so unless the sources got updated, there is no point in recompiling.

thank you for replying. Actually I need to recompile the dll for a project of mine.
I would appreciate if someone would guide me through the process of building the dll for windows 98.
About the compiler, I was thinking of msvc6, but any other compiler would be fine.
thanks

thank you. actually I'm making progress with building the dll.

I was wondering if somewhere is already available a debug build of the dll, compatible with win98. any clue?

thanks

I've just sent a mail to koolsmoky, hoping he's still checking the address on his site.
I'd like to build a glide2x dll for win98 with msvc6, because I need it for debugging an application.
His version of glide2x dll seem to just wrap around glide3x, but I need to build a windows dll from sources as close as possible to the original sources released by 3dfx.

thanks for any help
