just seen the preview for the fastvoodoo 4.0XP driver,1280*1024 with v2 SLI[:0],cool.is v2 SLI fast enough for a smooth gameplay in this resolution?and would it be possible to have 1024*768 on a single v2 with this driver?(for unreal tournament for example..)..man,fastvoodoo2 ruulz..[8D]
Wicked3D Win9x drivers series allowed running games at 1024x768 points on the screen with a single Voodoo2. These now are a little obsolete and besides require Wicked3D Voodoo2 for a succesfully completed installation (software check).
With FastVoodoo2 4.0 XP you will set up a resolution at 1024x768 on single Voodoo2 for only some OpenGL based games. In some case with Quake2 engine based games like Quake 2 or Heretic 2 you can go on until 1600x1200, with a single board.
well, one Wicked3D Voodoo2 : 1024*672
2 Wicked3D Voodoo2 : 1024*1024
the mode 1024*768 is only available with 2 Wicked3D Voodoo2 in sli
but all these resolutions are possible in D3D, QuakeGl and Glide

It's right [:I]...tnx MOD ;)

how can?do this work with fast voodoo 4.6 too?
if you can disable z-buffer in the game options, you will be able to use higher resolutions, but this may cause artifacts.I was running thief2 in 1024*768 res on a single v2,the game was fine but the sky was broken.
how can i disable z buffer in qauke and quake 2?is it possibel to run htese 2 games in 1024x768?
check commands and variables.I'm not sure about q1,but it should be possible with q2 as I know for sure that heretic2 allows this, and the game uses q2 engine..but as I said, the results of disabling the z-buffer can be..questionable.
