hi to all, 1st sorry for my bad english, i will try 2 explain my prob.
i have installed nfsu2 but i cant play good with voodoo4.. the game starts, i can see the menus etc but when i try to start e new race, i view all black except for maps and kmh counter, its possible 2 play nfsu2 with voodoo4? and if yes how? my pc:
sempron 2800
512 ram
voodoo4 pci amigamerlin 3.1 R6

I don't think it's possible yet.
I have a Voodoo 5 5500 with AmigaMerlin 3.0XP and I also get the black screen.

I have the same problems that you have, I havn't managed to work out what is going on yet. I don't think any voodoo 4/5 driver currently works with this game.

NFSU ran insanely slow on my Voodoo5 (although it DID run).

You expect to run NFSU2 on a card half the speed of the V5? Even if you could get it to work, it wouldn't be anything like playable.

Well, NFSU 1 actually WAS playable on my V4, with latest SFFT drivers.
You cannot expect the speed a modern card has, but it still is fun to play.

ps : a Voodoo 5 puts up very well with a cpu like an Athlon XP
