Title: FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING/VOODOO 4 4500
Post by: daedalus1a on 13 January 2004, 23:36:33
I've tried to run this game, but it crashes to the desktop, i've tried all the good latest drivers (Amigamerlin, 3dHq, official, etc)and there was no solution, also i've tried the 3DAnalyze program but it gives me an error message, i'm about to toss this card into the toilet...

... HOW DO I MAKE THIS GAME RUN?![:(!]

Since now thanks for any help you could bring me.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY, THAT WAS FAST!

The error message is the classic of windows (98SE)with a red cross and says something of.. "3danalize.exe - fail module kernel32.dll - accept or cancel", i tried this program and worked fine with GTA vice city and jedi outcast, i dont know why it doesnt work with lotr - fotr, maybe i doesn't put the correct settings for this particular game... ...what are the recommended?

DirectX 8.1 and 9.0 options
Hardware limits (cap bits)
emulate HW TnL caps

Try an older version of 3danalyzer and tick HW TnL emulate caps as the last one gave me the same message
(like the version 2.26)

Yes, that worked!
I've used the 3DA v 2.0 plus the last 3dhq drivers.
The only problem is a "fuzzy" sky and i cant see the animations, well gonna keep trying stuff with the 3DA
