3D-Analyze is a tool for transform and lightning hardware emulation. So it is very useful for running TnL games on video cards that have not on board dedicated circuits for TnL calculations (like all Voodoo, Kyro, some Radeon and older). It uses power of central processing unit to do emulation.

Older and current packages, release notes and tutorials are available to download here.

Note: with 3D-Analyze v. 2.31 author has readded Windows 9X support.

Hi guys,

3D-Analyze can help running many TnL games with Voodoo cards but this tool has some settings that must be enabled for optimal game setup.

So I ask you to insert 3D-Analyze configurations (by text or image) that allow to play with your games.

Tnx for your contribution that will be useful for all 3dfx owners [^]

GeForce FX 5900 XT uses a single-slot cooler that gets along just fine with Shuttle's nonstandard AGP slot layout. The 5900 XT's cooling fan is nice and quiet, too.

About performance, this card doesn't give very satisfactory results with Direct3D based benchmarks when antialiasing and anisotropic filters are enabled. For example see these measurements with UT2003:

The worlds No.1 chipmaker this week reportedly confirmed existence of its own 64-bit x86 microprocessor, but then denied the reality of any Intel's x86-64 CPU, when asked for clarification.

Intel keeps its secrets well and does not say anything in regards its strategy concerning 64-bit chips for mainstream PCs. Will it be a cost-effective Itanium? Or a high-end IA32 with extensions?
