Hello to everybody! (he is my first post, this genial WEB :))
I have 2 voodoo5 5500 AGP, one is bios version 1.18 and the other is bios vers. 1.06. What is better? Or this is not important?
Thank you very much!

the fastest BIOS version for a v5 is 1.16 PCI (even if the card is AGP). and, in most of the minds here, faster is better. you can get this here: https://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/3dfx/voodoo5/bios.htm. out of those two cards, probably 1.18 is the fastest.
do you know if I can break the card, if I change it the bios?
I can put the version that I want. Whenever it is version agp (bios)?
yes, flashing the BIOS can make the card unusable, but it is not likely, I have flashed my card 3 times and it still runs perfect.
as for the second part of your question, I believe the meaning gets lost in the translation, could you please reword it? i think that you are asking if you can use any BIOS version that you like, and if so, you can as long as it is for the same model card (V5 5500) and doesn't look for features that your card does not have (TV-OUT). but you can use PCI BIOS in an AGP card
can you also use a AGP bios in a PCI card ?
I would assume so. you must realize that all V5s use the same PCI66 engine, the only difference is the increased bandwidth provided from an AGP slot as opposed to the limited and shared PCI baandwidth. however, why would you want to? 1.16 PCI is the best BIOS for all cards, according to Quake 3 benchmarks done on this forum, but I can't quite remember where, but I think it was DarkRain who did them
