Ok i know this video card needs atleast 300W psu or so the manual for it says that i like my voodoo still:P but the thing is when i put it in my computer it either crases after sometime or just freezez and if it dont do that it keeps turning the screen black and then it comesback to what i was doing. it dont do that on my voodoo 4 at all

my psu is a KME 230w its all i have i am guessing its better than my 100w that i was forced to use since this darn computer killd two 300w psu's

It could be that that hard disk is faulty or something along that line and the computer its self just hasent detected any problems...

[:0]OMG it is highly possible that it could be because at psu's do not put out the needed power to runn anything over about ehh 237MHz and pluss the p MMX233 really isint a cpu to be overclocking they burn really really easly[xx(] your best bet tho if you really really want to try and over clock it is to buy a atx formfactor psu they can put out more i have used at psu to overclock once and when the computer got over 240MHz it crashed i fixed the problem with a atx sso it might help *ive been threw about 6 computers now and each of them had thir own mind when it came to the cpu overclocking* juss play with it.[8D]

Well dells have p4 in them and a regular dell psu is only 200W so i guess 200W is the bare min but if you plan on adding highend stuff then it is best to get a 400W **HINT look for one that sais AMD ready or something like that** they usally tend to take more stress*
AMD dose have some better cpus if you want an extreame gameing system.;)

[8D] Personally if it was a Intel chipset and all your probally not gonna want to use it agen but on the other hand i have a VIA M811 mobo and it burnt out my duron amd and the mobo is fine i have a amd athlon XP2200+ in it now currently running alil too fast well not at the moment i need a new psu first:P[^] other than that i guess you could just buy a new mobo combo with a cpu that would be the better thing to do after all it is quite cheaper than buying a new cpu
