Title: Medal of Honor BLOOD ERROR
Post by: urielsd on 23 February 2006, 17:19:06
I recently installed a patch that increases the blood in the game. I could see blood now getting out of my enemies bodies, but unfortunately now i see white flickering squares all around the game(generally below a dead soldier). Im not sure if this happens only with Voodoos, but i want someone to tell me if there is a way to fix this so there are no more flickering squares without losing the blood. Any help is greatly appreciated.

PS:I have a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI(16MB) card, and my OS is WIN98SE.

this may be caused by max texture size.I would try mesafx with software rescaling.place the mesafx opengl32.dll in the mohaa folder (together with the latest glide3x (http://www.3dfx.cz/download/glide3x_v345.zip)),and create a txt file (say run.txt) in your mohaa folder, edit it with notepad, and put in following:

set MESA_FX_MAXLOD=9
mohaa.exe

Save changes and exit notepad, rename run.txt to run.bat, and launch the game via run.bat.see if that helps.if not,try increasing the value (9,10 and 11 are allowed).
