Correction, it was the summer of 2001 when I first got my 1.4 GHz T-Bird.

Also, the Pure3D I have is built from the Voodoo 1 chip.

So is the FSB the problem?
As far as a AGP/PCI locking feature, the BIOS doesn't offer any such option that I've seen.
The lowest I can set the FSB to is 90 MHz.

Is it that the card can't handle the speed of the FSB?
Is there any software available to make the Voodoo 1 card "think" the FSB is slower than it actually is?

Again thanks for taking the time to read and respond.

Thanks for reading and replying to my post.

I've had this problem since I first tried to get the Pure3D to work in the Athlon system (summer of 2000). The system had a 1.4 GHz ThunderBird cpu then but I've since upgraded it to the 1700+ ThoroughBred.

I might add that the FSB is set to 133 MHz.

I've got several glide games that I still want to use but they won't all work with the glide wrappers I've tried for the GeForce 3. Some do but not all.

Do you know of anyone who has a similar setup with the Pure3D working?

Win98SE
DirectX 9
Asus A7m266 Socket A Motherboard ver 1.04 BIOS 1.008
Athlon 1700+
256 MB DDR Ram
Asus v8200 Deluxe GeForce 3 (nVidia Detonator 40 version 45.23)
Pure3Dd (Canpous final driver P3DW9X20110)
the usual other stuff sound card, cd-rom's, modem etc.

When I try to run any glide games through the Pure3D the system crashes and I get a screen full of pink and black blocks.

Anyone know what he problem is and if there is a fix?

Thanks in advance.
