Crash

Greetings,

I've recently found a fantastic program that allows some of the old Voodoo 1 games to run in OpenGL on modern video cards.  Some of the games that are currently working are:

Carmageddon (the original and Splat Pack), Tomb Raider (high resolution textures available), Elder Scrolls Redguard, Blood, Screamer II, Red Baron, Dreams to Reality, Extreme Assault...

The program is called Glidos, and is available for $10 from:
http://www.glidos.net/

I've got Carmageddon working properly in WindowsXP with an ATI Radeon 9700Pro, and with some defects on Windows98se and a Voodoo5 6000.

I'm getting vertical lines over bitmapped menus and screen overlays on the Voodoo5.

In any case, for any of you that may have old glide games that you wish to run on whatever card you have, this may be worth a try.

Cheers!

In case anyone experiences the same problem that I did with lines in Glidos, it turned out that I needed to use a different Glide2x.dll in the Glidos folder.  I was advised to use the one from the Openglide distribution, and now Carmageddon works very nicely on the Voodoo5 6000.

Cheers!
