Hm, like some sort of embossing I quess :) Better that nothing, and framerate dont change.

Create driver? In that case perfomanse may downgrade, perhaps FPS will be very low. After all D3 with shadows shows not a very big FPS even now on V5 5500.

By the way some sort of such things we can see in Escape from Butcher Bay. 0.5 mode - in that mode game use prerendered DOT3 bumpmapped textures.

Hm, you mean that we'll have bumpmapped Doom3 on Voodoo 2/3/4/5 ?

Maybe you just move gamma slider in control panel/tweaker, and set up brightness in game ;)

How about FPS if you'll set medium quality?

I think you'll get a better framerate if you'll use koolsmoky driver and WickedGL miniport ;)

Heh, Unreal engine shows an unreal images :D

Thats not so bad after all. I think those textures have other format, so Voodoo 2 dont understand them correctly.

P.S. By the way: those screens from single Voodoo 2 or SLI ?

Boss
Stop, stop, stop. Let me ask you, ok?

If I will launch that game on my Voodoo 2 SLI with drivers/tweaks that you have, will I get the working game with the same image quality like on screens? Or not?

Hi everybody.

I've found a strange artifact in games when I use this res in it.

How do you say? For example in UT I have little green dots and little horisontal tearings when I look on black 2d menu (Player skin window, console). Or such things on console in Q3. Only in 2d part of the games, the 3d part works nice even if I overclock card up to 190 mhz.
But if I set the more lower res, or higher (1280x1024 for example) artifacts disappear...
By the way the problem only in 2d part of the games, if I set these resolution in Windows all looks fine.

I cant understand what a heck is that. Could it be driver (Amigasport 3.0) or some hardware problems with my nForce 2 chipset? Or its somethings else?
In other words: Can you identify the nature of that problem?
Thanks.

You mean you have new hardrive and you cant install drivers on a NEW, CLEAN WinXP?
#14
Yeah, I agree:)

Also you'll need to add other little and tiny components that sticked with DVI on Voodoo 5.
#15
This is possible. But dont forget that you'll need the microchip that installed near the DVI connector, and it must be same as on Voodoo's that have DVI, or BIOS wont recognize it oor may not work properly.

As you see this is not so simple as it looks, youll need a rare microchip, DVI connector, equipment for stick, and working properly files hands.dll and brains.dll:D
