Try the alternative OpenGL ICD from Koolsmokey,
get it here : http://www.3dfxzone.it/koolsmoky/oglicd.html
That helped me alot.

or, if that doesnt work, rename the 3dfxogl.dll file from GlideXP (http://www.users.on.net/triforce/glidexp/) to opengl32.dll and place it in your Jedi Academy.exe directory

Hi, what about Windows 98? Can I use the GlideXP driver?

erm, probably.... and as long as you place the opengl32.dll in the local game directory, it wont affect the driver install in anyway....

The way to get Jedi Academy working, is to get the opengl render as Rolo01 said, then copy the file (opengl32.dll) into the 'Gamedata' directory.  E.g.  My dir lookes like this c:\Demos\Jedi_Academy\Gamedata\ , otherwise if you put it elsewhere, the game will not use this render.
Try it out, this is how I got it working on my system...looks quite nice :)

Hello guys,
In the screenshot section you can see some screenshot of the game taked by me!!
I have installed only the amigamerlin 3.0 driver set and nothing else !!
Just open the .cfg file of the game and disable the compressed textures placing 0 where you find 1.
If someone need it modified I can upload it here. The logo and the intro is visible if you enable the force 16 bit texture rendering.
Another trics is to wait the new MESA 5.1 that should be released shortly :D. in this way you can use compressed textures and intro both in 32 bit mode !! :D

Keep me infomed if someone need the .cfg file modified!!
Ah.. for your info I 'm using the demo not the full version!!

Bye to all
