Ok guys, I have to be honest, I messed things up. My first home-made SLI cable made from an IDE cable was ****. It didn't work properly but alsways got detected in the voodoo settings-sheet. It had a ribbon clipped and couldn't work like it should. That was the first problem avercame. So i made a new SLI cable from a floppy disk cable (took me 2 hours) then tried quake and saw an incredible difference in smoothness (800*600). I swear, it was like I was flying trough the rooms, so fast (or have I been up too late ??) Now I can play also on 1024*768 (and even the one higher resolution) but that goes slow. Something must still be wrong... But hey, this time i got them both working, no ? (they are in non-adjacant pci bus drives so no extra cooling needed i believe?)
PS look at me mum, just 2 weeks of voodoo2 and i'm already starting to talk like these guys...
My monitor refresh rates can go up to 120 Hfor up to 800*600 and beyond it is limited to 85 Hz It's detacted as a plug and play monitor.
