Hey guys,
can someone having a PCI-X Adapter and some real PCI-X (Raid/LAN) do me a favor and see if it´s working @66Mhz or more and 64bit?
Would be very helpful for me!

Thanks Tobi

OT: Can one of you owning the Supermicro adapter do me a favor and test it with a real PCI-X card. i want to use it for a scsi pci-x raid (64bit/133mHZ) controller in a board just having pci-e...thx Tobi

Hi!

Got my Evilking4 now running on my TVScreen. Now i get a black screen when trying to run a glide app with 2xAA. But the sound runs in BG.
I am using the SFFT 42 drivers...are the glide files from koolsmoky better or newer? which ones are included in SFFT?
Maybe FSAA is unworkable on TV?

Greetings Tobi

PSU is from Enermax a very good and reliable brand here in germany. it worked for years is a system with overclocked XPs and delivers about 3.4V measured on the 3.3V rail. I dont think this is the problem but thank you anyway!

Hi Guys!

I´m using an Evilking V4 Card on my TV. The problem is that i have a Pal TV and the Voodoo switches back to NTSC signal after every reboot. Is it a fault in the 3dfx tools or is it bios related like as there are two different bioses for PAL and NTSC?
Or maybe there is another trick?

Thx Tobi

Hi everybody,

last weekend i tried to build up a pc with an Evilking Voodoo4 with Tv-Out. First on an Asus P3bf and later on a P2bf. Cpu is a Tualeron on a modified MSI 6905 Slot1-adapter. power supply has 350W should be more than enough.
With 100Mhz FSB the system is prime-stable for minimum 1h (didnt test more because no time ;-)). When i start a 3D-application the system freezes after few seconds. Got some tips from several sources in the internet: PCI latency up to 64 and AGP Aperture size = ram size. Board and CPU have been running 100Mhz FSB fine before. The EK has AGP4x Support maybe so it has problems running on 3,3V Boards (ps47 from czech ruled this out, thx)

After that i tried setting the FSB to 66Mhz, still unstable. The i accidentally left the agp divider on 2/3 and the agp was running on 44Mhz and the 3DMark is able to run for 20min then it crashes back to xp. The same thing happens with 75 and 83Mhz FSB and AGP 2/3 Divider...Now there could be several parts responsible for the freezes:

CPU: Maybe not 100% stable on the modded slotket

Board: Tried two ones...Maybe the V4 is more current hungry than other Cards. V3 and GF run fine on these boards i read elsewhere

EK: She definitely does not like 66Mhz AGP. in my opinion she is the first candidate to have a defect...

For any help i am very grateful!

oh you misunderstood the picture...its just the board.. the fan is on the v3 chipset and on the picture there is no cpu inserted!

hi!

i am using this board too with an 1,3Ghz Tualeron. The Cpu is many hours prime stable, but running 3Dmark 2000 or playing results in a freeze or XP bs after about 20 min...I dont think this is a heat issue. Maybe related to bad caps for the v3...i replaced all around in red and maybe those in blue are important too. Any suggestions?

Great...is there anything known about changes? maybe a changelog?

Hi!
the 14 is the first driver i successfully could install! But im not sure about the usage. Is the sense of this driver, when i enable DX8 Support, that i dont need to use 3d analyze to play/view p.e. the 3dmark 01? In jurassic park or wc3 i cant see differences...
