your 1280/768 is 1,6666666666666666666666666666667
so, no true 16/9 widescreen....
v4 & v5 support in non 4/3 (1.33333) presets:
1280,1024\ ratio 1,25
1600,1024\ ratio 1,5625
actually i am thinking if this...(although i will take a long time until i have money to get one..)

seems most 16:9 LCd products are having 1280 X 768 as the max screen resolution
Perhaps PowerStrip if you want use custom resolutions
