This official technology demo has been released on November 9, 2010 by NVIDIA for the  GeForce GTX 400 and 500-Series Graphics Cards based on the Fermi proprietary architecture.

According to the official software description, "procedurally-generated tessellation enabled the creation of a massive, complex city, the likes of which hadn't been seen before".
