In that first prototype pic, pcb seem to be made by hand. Brings up memories from my amplifier project year ago, which was successful :)
Good luck with voodoos ;)

Can't wait!! Can't wait!!!
Woohoo~ Good day indeed!~

Also, to get facts straight...
If i have one of those AGP2PCI cards...and a FX 55 with MSI Neo plat 2 (Nforce 3) will the card blow up? Or no?

*Talking about the V5 6k

If this product will be successful, do they plane PCI-E version? The AGP 0.5x data transfer is very slight especially for 5500 and 6000.

It almost sounds too good to be true

At the moment the AGP2PCI will not be compatible under Windows 2k/XP (kernel problem). Perhaps SFFT can help us.

osckhar, Your speech is right. AGP2PCI will not be compatible under Windows 2k/XP. ¤Ñ.¤Ñz
and... AGP2PCI is expensive.

Should like to be supplied much to Voodoousers because this succeeds.

Now, waiting pleasure remained :D

oo-key.we have first tests:

Testbed:
A64 3000+
1GB PC3200 RAM (Corsair CL2.5, dualchannel)
EP-9NPA+ (nF4U, 6.70)
X1800XL (secondary, C6.3)
AGP.5 (prototyp for PCI 2.3, 3.3V)
Voodoo 5 5500 64MB AGP (AM3.0XP)
Riva TNT2 M64 32MB AGP (30.82)
WinXPProSP2

there are few problems with the voodoo5,the transparency and lightning is all screwed up.seems like the driver has some problems..well see if SFFT performs better.

results:
Voodoo 5 5500 64MB AGP@PCI
3DMark2000 1.1 3566 (Game1, Game 2)
3DMark2001SE 330 1532 (Game1, Game 2, Game 3, Game 4 skiped)

Riva TNT2 M64 32MB AGP@PCI
3DMark2000 1.1 1814 (Game1, Game 2)
3DMark2001SE 330 654 (Game1, Game 2, Game 3, Game 4 skiped)

unfortunately,no.the design is flawed, and it needs to be re-made essentially from scratch..the project is not dead, but for now,its hibernating..

ps47 means that the project has been put aside, hibernation is a word used for things that have been placed aside, see it as some sort of delay in a When It's Done situation, same what happened with 3D Realms Duke Nuken Forever  which most people called Duke Nuken Never, simple because it never came and it did take for ever to be released, they say it's coming next year, but then again how many times have we read and seen this right ;)

As this AGP.5 project goes, it simply failed, like some difficulties were seen over the head.

Hello,

Unfortunatelly the site is down from a long time...
Can the blueprint of the hardware and projekt information be posted here ?
I believe that there are here persons who can continue this projekt or maybe we can find a company that can build this adapter for a resonable price.

Thanks [:p]
