One other thing... how about removing all the branding from these drivers so they seem more like official 3dfx drivers. That would encourage people to try them out..

Has MesaFX started to use registry variables yet instead of environment?

i think "Driver entirely written by engineering genies in" would be a selling point

What's his face over there does have a point when it comes to driver branding.

As these are not "official" drivers developed by the former 3dfx driver team it would be misleading to have anyone think that they are.

Leave them as Amigamerlin's ;)
