as far as I have seen the "accessory" connector is standard to all 5500 cards, but then the problem is still has anyone figured out the pinout of the port, if so, the DVI connection area on the PCI 5500 might be used to loop video into a second 5500 for an SLI setup.

do you know of any place where i can find the technical documentation?  it's obviously possible to set the chips up in SLI because the voodoo 5 5500 and 6k along with aalchemy boards use the multiprocessors.  if somebody can pull  some schematics for a 5k or something, or pin layout of the VSA100 it may be possible to make a completely new 4/6/8 proc board with as much ram as we see fit, only needing to sacrifice voodoo 4 and 5 boards for chips.

since the voodoo 5 cards are already set up as a 2 chip sli, is it possible to chain voodoo 5 cards together, say with multiple pci cards, with some modifications to allow them to run at or beyond the v5 6k setup?

i used a not so technical method of installing a fan, take the door you removed to make that picture (the side panel) then grab yourself a hammer, chisel and drill.  you take the fan you want installed, and trace a circle on the metal door with pencil (using the inside diameter of fan as a stencil). then you grab the smallest drill bit to fit standard case fan screws. the rest should be simple trial and error, the chisel is not hard to use, and you just drill out where the screws must go. then "presto!" instant airflow, install your DIY modified case door, (you can make the screw ups look a tad better by installing rubber molding or small weather stripping on the rough metal edges, that should more than cover the heat output of the chipsets. you could go all out and even install 2 fans (intake is suggested but in or out should probably do the trick)
