not a voodoo 2 so please don't redirect me to the other thread.

will it work with a voodoo 3? there are mentions of a patch, but i can't find it, so...

i've a LAN this weekend and i'm trying to get this to run doom3.

i do have a ti4200 128mb as backup for this machine, but i would like to make it run with the voodoo card. and so would others attending.

specs (if they matter)

epox kt333 board
amd 1700+ jiuhb uberclocker
512 pc2700
maxtor 10gb
xp pro sp2

yes, just give a try to the doom3's MesaFX version:

I dont think Doom3 will run on a V3 just with Mesa.
You better try the Voodoo2 patch, get it here :

Anyway, try this AND the mesa link ggab posted. When it works on a V2, it will work on a V3 as well.

crap in a hat!!!

i formatted and can't remember what driver i was using.

anyway, i'm playing painkiller and ut2k4 on top of doom3 so i'll need a driver for xp that'll handle them.

i can't remember if it was amigasport or amigamerlin i was supposed to be using.
