We want get a new target: making possible that people plays with Voodoo2 SLI done by mismatched cards on Windows 2000 and Windows XP environments. We remember that mismatched means that your Voodoo2 SLI does not use boards of same manufacturer: for example one arrives from Creative and one from Diamond.

A beta driver release is ready: grab it here and make a good testing on your system. Then report results about install process, compatibility and performance issues, other  in this topic. You must post all main system specs like cpu, motherboard, Voodoo2 manufacturers and Operative System.

By your feedback we want before put on a stable device driver and then attempt rising with perormances and aiming at these of FastVoodoo2 4.0 XP for identical cards.

First impression

The game is running with nice speed at 1280x1024 so we wait for good performances on V5 5500 cards (at least) at 800x600. This engine is more efficient than previous UT 2003 (also with not 3dfx cards). Programmers got both performance and high video quality on most systems and solved horizontal lines problem that UT 2003 had with multiple VSA-100 cards.

Hi guys,

I'm very, very happy that this Community is useful to find friends and to 3dfx "talk".

But...all screenshots or images sizes MUST be <= 80kb, else screenshots/images MUST be linked only.

I, you and all other MUST think of low band users: pages with one or more 140kb (or above...) images are a block for their connection...[V]

Thanks in advance.

Is now (and for the future) all clear (for all)?

I hope so!

Thanks in advance.

3D-Analyze is a tool for transform and lightning hardware emulation. So it is very useful for running TnL games on video cards that have not on board dedicated circuits for TnL calculations (like all Voodoo, Kyro, some Radeon and older). It uses power of central processing unit to do emulation.

Older and current packages, release notes and tutorials are available to download here.

Note: with 3D-Analyze v. 2.31 author has readded Windows 9X support.
