Hi,
I got the following problem with the Fast Voodoo 3.0 driver before and therefor installed the 4.0 Gold driver, but the problem is still there:
The driver does not show the card specs under "system info..." although winxp knows the card and it is listed under "device control".
I installed wicked3d and configured Deus Ex with highres acceleration, but if I try to run it, I get the errormessage "mapmen returned an error when trying to map memory" and it crashes back to windows. After that windows does not show any icons, until I reboot the pc. With Diablo2 I get the same problem.
I found out in the device control that there is no IRQ assigned to the voodoo card, just a memory address range. If thats the problem, how can I assign one to it under winxp?
My system:
WinXP
Athlon XP 3200+
Epox EP8RDA3+
Club 3D ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
Diamond Monster 3D II 12mb
Hope u can help.
Ciao Bert
