Geforce Tweak Utility Latest Update: version 3.1 RC1 Known issues: The color correction settings do NOT work under W2k/XP. I know that the Expert Mode sometimes showes one wrong icon. Example: Some entries may only be "1" or "0". When you set such an entry to "2" then the EM should show the icon "=X" that is covered by an orange "!". But as it seems the GTU doesn't like this icon :-( With non-reference drivers you could get an error "could not find NVQTWK.DLL" - fixed. Small layout bugfix New expert mode tab The expert mode is working! But I didn't create database files for every driver, yet. But the expert mode actually works with all driver versions. The GTU automatically chooses the database file that fits to your driver. If you've a driver that's not in the database it will choose the version number that's nearest to your driver (only the database files for detonator 12.60 and 14.70 come along with this beta) removed beta settings moved some of the old beta settings to the D3D/OGL/System tabs modified preset manager code The "fast settings" and "quality settings" button are now free to define. You can mark a preset out of the preset manager and it will be activated every time you press the button. Redefine the buttons under the "GTU settings" tab. Fixed bug that kept the GTU popping up after pressing the "send to tray"-button Removed bug that kept the GTU popping up after pressing Alt+F4 (I hope nobody sees the src of this bugfix....) New feature: the commandlineswitch ' /start:"c:\example.gtu","c:\ex_app\example.exe" ' will load the preset ' "c:\example.gtu" ' and then start the program ' "c:\ex_app\example.exe" ' - (future plan: Then the settings should be restored to the state they were before - at the moment these settings are being saved in the PM under ' Temp\before_example.exe '.) Bugfix at ColorCorrection (When you changed the color things and did not press the apply button the GTU did not reset the color settings after activating an other tab in the GTU.) created primitive helpfiles for the Expert Mode and the GTU settings tab Fixed bug that kept the open and save dialogs fall into the background Small bugfix with ZCompressenable and DXVAEnable Core & memory clockspeeds and Color Correrction settings are saved with the preset files (*.GTU) now, too. New FSAA code Modified w2k adapter detection & color correction code. But color correction doesn't work under w2k ... :-( New feature: "Override NVidias suggested D3D FSAA settings" - this sounds important ;) but it's just a small thing: in the tweak menu of the drivers only some special FSAA modes (e.g. "1x2" and "2x2") are possible - the GTU normally then only showes these "1x2" and "2x2" settings. Now, with the new option you can make all possible FSAA modes in the GTU visible. Small startup bugfixes w2k overclocking with 14.xx drivers is working again. small changes at the Stereo3D settings The Preset Manager did not work in previous releases under w2k. Now it does. Bugfix at oc feature (w9x) NVidia changed a lot of things with the 21.81 driver. I took care of this in this beta. (I hope I found all the changes!) Some users got the error "konnte Daten für 'saved' nicht holen", this should be fixed. The 21.81 drivers support the OpenGL emulation of the NV25 chip. The GTU can enable this emulation. (The drivers also can emulate a 2nd UNRELEASED chip, I suppose it to be the NV17, but since nobody knowes I will not implement anything about it) modified "apply at startup" checkbox (w9x) changed a lot of code at the color correction feature. some very sensitive code changes at the GTUs main procedure 1st tests with XP XP adapter detection code changes Added driver uninstall function (GTU settings tab) oc UI changes changed information tab style added link to our new sponsor: Dangerous-Zock-Systems They sell ultra-cool high end pcs for gamers and will be equipped with a special verison of the GTU. added a lot of database files for Win9x/ME. New files for Win2k/XP will come with the full GTU 3.1 disabled MipMapLevels option at the D3D-tab when driver more than 6.xx
