 17.12.2008   XFX ufficializza la partnership con AMD, a breve le prime Radeon
 

Come anticipato alcuni giorni fa, XFX ha ufficializzato la nuova partnership con AMD, mirata alla realizzazione di schede grafiche di classe ATI Radeon HD 4000, che andranno ad ampliare la gi ricca gamma di video card prodotte da XFX.

In accordo a Rick Bergman, VP Senior di XFX, "il livello di eccellenza conseguito dalla linea di gpu Radeon HD 4000 alla base della nuova partnership che render fruibili a XFX non soltanto la tecnologia attuale di AMD in ambito grafico ma anche quella futura".

Le prime schede grafiche di XFX con processore grafico ATI Radeon HD 4000 saranno disponibili nella fase iniziale del prossimo anno; come per le GeForce, anche le prossime Radeon XFX saranno contraddistinte da feature esclusive, come la dotazione di driver altamente personalizzati e l'overclock di default.

Ontario, Calif., December 16, 2008 PINE (HKSE: 8013.HK) today announced that its graphics division, XFX, is partnering with AMD. The collaboration will incorporate the award-winning ATI Radeon HD 4000 series GPUs into XFXs already impressive line of extreme performance graphics cards.

"We are delighted as this partnership allows us to incorporate the current and future AMD graphics technology into our future graphics card designs, and enables our R&D teams to develop an even wider range of graphics products for our worldwide customers," said Michael Chiu, Chairman and CEO of Pine Technology Holdings.

XFX will debut its first ATI Radeon HD 4000 series-based cards in early 2009. The XFX-partnered Radeon products will come with all of the popular features that XFX is known for, including XFXs unparalleled 5-Star support, access to customized drivers, and factory overclocked XXX series.
