Con il comunicato stampa allegato di seguito, Sparkle ha annunciato la nuova scheda grafica, basata sulla gpu GeForce 9800 GTX+ di NVIDIA, siglata SF-PX98GTX+512D3-NHM e carattertizzata da una implementazione fortemente customizzata del design reference fornito dal chip maker NVIDIA, che include l'insolita dotazione di una porta HDMI tra le uscite native della card.

L'attenzione dell'assemblatore Ŕ stata rivolta in primis allo stadio di alimentazione, dove sono stati integrati dei VRM con un numero di fasi sovradimensionato rispetto ai valori standard, e alla scelta dei condensatori, tutti polimerici al fine di ridurre la dissipazione di potenza e stabilizzare l'operativitÓ dell'hardware.

Sparkle ha scelto un cooler proprietario, che si basa su rame e alluminio, per dissipare il calore prodotto dalla gpu, anche in condizioni operative di overclock. Le impostazioni di fabbrica scelte dal board maker prevedono una frequenza di clock per il core pari a 738MHz, a 2200MHz per i 512MB di G-DDR3, a 1836 MHz per i 128 stream processor e a 400MHz per il RAMDAC. Il collegamento tra gpu e RAM Ŕ realizzato mediante un bus a 256-bit.
