Con il comunicato stampa allegato di seguito, SPARKLE ha presentato al grande pubblico una nuova linea di schede grafiche basate sulla gpu GeForce 8800 GT di NVIDIA ed equipaggiate rispettivamente con 256Mb, 512Mb e 1Gb di RAM in tecnologia G-DDR3.

A caratterizzare fortemente le nuove video card di SPARKLE è il dissipatore adottato per il raffreddamento dell'hardware: il produttore ha infatti sovradimensionato il cooler che risulta quindi essere in grado di ridurre - di circa 8°C - la temperatura operativa a regime. Ciò ha in ultima analisi permesso di incrementare la stabilità complessiva e di accrescere il margine di overcloccabilità della gpu.

SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd. today announced the SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB/512MB/1GB Graphics Cards with a new fan design. These three products will dissipate heat away from themselves more effectively, providing more a comfortable working environment for high-end PC gamers.

Based on NVIDIA's GeForce 8800 GT architecture, the SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB/512MB/1GB Graphics Cards with the new fan design adopt an innovative unified architecture which dynamically allocates processing power to geometry, vertex, physics, or pixel shading operations, delivering increased gaming performance over prior generation GPUs. The cards are built upon technologies such as NVIDIA's Lumenex Engine, providing support for DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0, NVIDIA Quantum Effects technology for physics computation and GigaThread Technology for extreme processing efficiency in advanced, next generation shader programs.

The SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB/512MB/1GB Graphics Cards with the new fan design are specifically developed to answer enthusiast gamers' demand for high-performing graphics whilst maintaining moderate working temperature. SPARKLE equips these three cards with an elaborately made cooling fan which has a bigger diameter than the reference cooling fan of the GeForce 8800 GT. As their GeForce 8800 GT predecessors, The SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB/512MB/1GB Graphics Cards with the new fan design use 65nm chip manufacture technology from TSMC, to achieve 600MHz core speed and 1500MHz shader clock. With 256MB/512MB/1GB GDDR3 video memory at 1400MHz/1800MHz, the SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB/512MB/1GB Graphics Cards with the new fan design can meet the rigorous demand on video memory capacity from brand new DirectX 10 games, such as Crysis, Gear of War and so on.

Ahead for next generation data transportation standard, the SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB/512MB/1GB Graphics Cards with the new fan design comply with PCI Express 2.0 standard, they can maximize the usage of 5GT/s bandwidth (twice that of first generation PCI Express) provided by PCI Express 2.0 standard, to be full ready for future games and applications which have strict requirements on bandwidth. At the same time, the SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB/512MB/1GB Graphics Cards with the new fan design are also compatible with present PCI Express 1.1 motherboards with widest scope of support.

The SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT 256MB/512MB/1GB Graphics Cards with the new fan design feature the latest PureVideothe new fan design HD VP2 technology which leverages the revolutionary second generation video-processing engine in GeForce 8880 GT graphic chip to deliver the highest-quality playback of HD DVD and Blu-ray movies on mainstream PCs. The new programmable video processing engine takes on all of the high definition H.264 HD video decoding, freeing the CPU to perform other tasks and significantly reducing power consumption, heat, and noise.
