 01.12.2013   EK lancia un kit water block per la Maximus VI Formula di ASUS
 

EK Water Blocks, dopo aver lanciato un kit water block per le motherboard Maximus VI Gene e Maximus VI Hero di ASUS, continua il sodalizio con il maker asiatico presentando una soluzione analoga (model number: EK-FB KIT ASUS M6F) per la scheda madre Maximus VI Formula, che sappiamo essere basata sul chipset Z87 Express di Intel e dotata di supporto delle cpu Core di quarta generazione (nome in codice: Haswell) con socket LGA-1150.

Il nuovo EK-FB KIT ASUS M6F consente il raffreddamento a liquido sia del southbridge (o meglio Platform Controller Hub, PCH, utilizzando una terminologia più recente e cara a Intel) che dello stadio di alimentazione (VRM e MOSFET). Ed è naturalmente pienamente compatibile con il ROG Thermal Armor pre-installato da ASUS.

Il nuovo EK-FB KIT ASUS M6F di EK è disponibile in due differenti colorazioni, come esemplificato dalle foto che seguono: il suo MSRP è pari in entrambi i casi a €89.95.

EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to introduce ASUS Maximus VI Formula, premium 4th generation Intel Core motherboard with stylish thermal armor, a Z87 Express based premium 4th generation Intel Core LGA-1150 socket motherboard.

EK-FB KIT ASUS M6F water block kit is a complete liquid cooling solution for ASUS Maximus VI Formula motherboard. The water blocks directly cools southbridge (PCH) as well as power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module and is designed to perfectly blends with the original design by utilizing ASUS original thermal armor plastic cover. It is a high flow water block kit that can be easily used with systems using weaker water pumps.

Base of the water block is made of nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal or acrylic glass material (depending on the variant). The screw-in standoffs are already pre-installed and allow for easy and trouble-free installation by utilizing original motherboard steel backplate.
