TUL Corporation ha lanciato la video card di fascia alta PowerColor Radeon HD 6870 X2 2GB, una soluzione dual-gpu che utilizza due gpu "BART XT", a cui sono abbinati 2GB di RAM G-DDR5.

I core grafici delle gpu lavorano a 900MHz mentre la memoria locale a 1050MHz (4.2Gbps); la card include inoltre un bus di collegamento con la RAM da 256-bit dedicato per ciascuno dei due processori grafici. Inoltre, il numero complessivo di stream processor è pari a 2240 (2x1120).

Tra le feature in primo piano segnaliamo la dotazione di un PWM a 13 fasi e l'adozione di componenti di elevata qualità, tra cui le bobine con nucleo in ferrite. Il cooler, infine, è un dual-fan basato sulla tecnologia Heat Pipe Direct Touch (HDT) che, in accordo al produttore, è in grado di esibire una efficienza nella fase di dissipazione dell'energia termica nettamente superiore (50 volte) rispetto alle soluzioni convenzionali.
