 13.02.2010   SPARKLE lancia le card Calibre X240/X240G con cooler a 2 livelli
 

Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, SPARKLE ha annunciato le schede grafiche della linea Calibre X240/X240G, che al momento include due varianti che differiscono per il quantitativo di memoria on board, pari a 512MB di G-DDR5 nel caso della Calibre X240 e a 1GB di G-DDR5 nel caso della Calibre X240G.

Entrambe le soluzioni sono basate sulla gpu di fascia media siglata GeForce GT 240, che prodotta da NVIDIA con un processo di fabbricazione in tecnologia a 40nm ed integra 96 stream processor. Il core grafico configurato per operare a 630MHz, gli stream processor a 1677MHz e la RAM a 3600MHz; il bus che collega la gpu alla memoria locale a 128-bit mentre le uscite video sono di tipo DVI, HDMI e D-Sub.

Ma il cooler, indicato come "dual-layer" da SPARKLE, a caratterizzare fortemente queste video card: in accordo alla denominazione del produttore, il sistema di raffreddamento organizzato su due livelli, dal momento che utilizza due ventole sovrapposte, che ruotano intorno allo stesso asse, il cui diametro pari a 9cm, ossia superiore di 1cm alla dimensione tipica per questa tipologia di cooler.

SPARKLE esalta l'efficienza di una simile soluzione in fase di dissipazione del calore, dal momento che questa massimizza la pressione e la quantit di aria applicata allo strato metallico, e non soltanto: infatti le ventole sono controllate in maniera tale da ruotare in senso orario per i primi 30 secondi successivi al boot e in senso antiorario negli istanti seguenti. In tal modo viene minimizzato l'accumulo di polvere e il degrado delle performance.

The First Strength - Equipped Elaborately Made Dual-layer Fan Blades Cooling System to Increases The Airflow And Air pressure Which Provides Greatly Increased Cooling Efficiency.
At present, the general use of graphics on the combination of ordinary fans and heat sinks to remove heat from GPU.
