I've got a dell laptop with one of the Intel Integrated video cards. I wanted to try portal on said laptop but obviously it doesn't have pixel shader abilities. I've loaded 3d analyze to try and get the game to get past the initial loading screen, but I am still getting the error "Your graphics hardware must support at least pixel shader version 1.1 to run this game".

At first I got the "Error while injecting dll into target process" when I first loaded 3d analyze but after i installed it into a directory other than the game directory that error went away.

I have since created two '.bat' files to test using 3d analyze, thinking that the problem may be that I am going through steam rather than strait to the portal game (commands listed below). when I try bat 1 i get the pixel shader error, when I try bat 2 it closes before showing the loading screen.

1)@echo off start steam.exe -applaunch 400
2)@echo off start hl2.exe -steam -game portal

Any help on settings or how I might get this to work would be appriciated.
