Hi!
I stated some problems about my voodoo system in this thread (http://www.3dfxzone.it/enboard/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3949) but I think it's better to open a new thread because the other one is quite old as I had now time working on my 3dfx PC for a long time. I want to build a 3Dfx PC consisting of 2x Monster 3D II 12MB and a Matrox Millenium II AGP. So I installed the Matrox and after that the 3dfx card. Everything seemed fine but I'm not able to open the display menu in the control panel after the installation of the voodoo. NFS III doesn't work either though everything seems to be installed correctly. Okay, I thought that it was some kind of driver problem or that the Matrox is incompatible with the voodoo. Hence I installed a RIVA128 card (ELSA Victory Erazor) but the same problem there. RIVA installtion o.k., voodoo installation o.k. but the Display menu crashes. I really think that there is something wrong with my components but I don't know what. Hopefully somebody can help me.
Finally here is the list of my components:
1Ghz Pentium III Slot 1 Asus P3B-F Rev. 1.04 with BIOS 1008 Beta (because of the processor) 1GB RAM Kingston (4x KVR100X64C2/256)
Really any hint is really appreciated. |

I forgot to mention that: I'm using Windows 98 SE. And yes, so far, I only installed one Voodoo2. Not even tried to install the second one because the trouble arrives with one voodoo already. |

I used the Diamond Voodoo2 drivers v.4.10.01.0207. For the Millenium Matrox drivers v.4.12.013, Riva v.4.10.01.0303-0004 made by ELSA. |

| Oh, thank you so much! It worked. No problems any more with the latest reference driver. Just wondering why the Diamond Driver is buggy. |

| I love people who behave in weird ways, coming back after 4 years, worried to edit the whole thread for unclear reasons, making it absolutely useless for the community, wasting the time of those who tried to help them and don't care nothing about sharing the solution of their problem. |
