Hi, I've downloaded 3d Analyzer a few hours ago and I'm doing something wrong.

I'm trying to play Oblivion on my old machine which has a Ati Radeon 8500 in it.  

Does anyone have any suggestions. I'm randomly trying settings but I really don't know what they mean. I'm just getting a white screen when I start the game which is probably an indication that my card doesn't use pixel shaders.

Any help is appreciated.

You will not get far in this case with 3D-Analyze.
But there is a solution :
Do a google search for oldblivion, this is a mod for oblivion that makes the game work on older cards.
Has some issues, but is better than nothing.

Thanks for the replies.  Actually, I had tried oldblivion before trying 3d-Analyze.  It didn't do anything for me but maybe I should try spending more time with it.

I wasn't sure I could hope for much with my card.
