Has anyone had any luck getting this game or the demo to run at all? I've tried running the demo with 3DAnalyzer up to v2.34 and using settings for D3D8.1 and it always crashes on the first load screen. You can just barely read a thieving tip the game displays while loading and then it suddenly exits back to desktop with no error message.

Thanks for creating a forum for this.

I don't know if you have ever seen the main menu of the game but I have and I can tell you that it requires more than 3d analyser to play since it has plenty of fog around it(pixel shader 1.4) and the letters of the words(Menu,Options,Exit etc.) create reflections around them(Transform and Lighting technology).Anyway,if there was any way for the game to load normally you would still have problems with the game textures because it is a very dark game and it is of no use not to be able to see the few lights it has!See I had the same problem with Painkiller but I finally gave up hope!

That's exactly what I wanted to know. It never went past the main menu for me, and I was wondering if the game would even be playable for anyone else. Unfortunately, it looks like theres no hope of that. (unless maybe you used wireframe mode :D)
Not a big disappointment since theres another computer I can play it on, but was just curious if it ran at all what settings to use, etc.
Thanks for the definitive answer.
