The game runs very smooth (some little slow down, lags) the only big prob is the car textures, they are all white(only the body). I got the beta drivers from Raziel (Since I own a Banshee (Diamond)).

here's is more shots from me:

Same here with GTA3. I just installed and was able to play for 5 minutos or so... just enough to get my hopes high and crash.
Plus I can't seen to change resolution, I have to play it using 640x480...

Ah, also theres one thing. Kinda bizarre, actually. If I try to run GTA3 just after Win XP started I get the message "GTA III requiers at least 128mb of avaliable memory", but if I run some other 3d game, exit and try to run GTA it works fine. Well, until it crashes...
If it helps, I'm on a P3 550, with 256mb RAM and a Diamond Monster Fusion PCI 16mb.

Odd. GTAVC requires 32 mb Video card, and GTA3 requires an Intel Or AMD 800mghz.I would never think they would run.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+
1 gb ddr
Western Digital 80 gig
ATI Radeon x800

there is a "new" solution: using the -opengl command in the game's shortcut + lastest MesaFX
(it should work..... in a v2 works OK)

hey there!
is there any way it could run with a P3-700, Voodoo3 3K, 512mb and win98se?

i have tryed lots of things.. but none worked.. when i try that -opengl thing it still shows the same message of not enough video memory..

i have tryed creating a bat like that
set MESA_FX_MAXLOD=9 (or 10)
gta-vc -opengl

imitating the hitman2 patch i found somewhere (and with the correct mesa files in the folder) ..but still no results..
how come a banshe or v2 can run it and not a voodoo3? will there ever be, or is there any driver like that Evolution or SFFT driver for win98/se?

thnx for advanced!

ps:any info about using mesa in bats or something is welcome!

Hi,
I tried to play GTA-vc and GTA3 on my banshee(pci) and on my voodoo3(AGP), but my system hang off after a few minutes of gameplay. I use the newest raziel and 3dfx drivers but nothing helps.
The -opengl command doesn't help, the game runs in d3d. What can I do to tun this Game on my banshee or voodoo3?

Sorry for my bad english :p
