[]I have a voodoo 5500 running windows XP on a pentium 3 800 with 256MB memory. I am trying to run Tony Hawkes 3 with no success. I have loaded the amigamerlin 2.5se setup with 3dfx and configured it as suggested. When I go into the display properties 3dfx it appears to default to desktop in the advanced config.
The visual effect is not to see the game menu of Tony Hawkes.
Please can you advise because I'm tearing my hair out. Have I got the correct drivers and or 3dfx. Will I have to throw the card away and start again !

If you could detail but your serious problem better. Is your card AGP or PCI?  
 
I don't have Tony Hawkes 3 therefore I cannot help you a lot, but I recommend you that you install the drivers Nikepodo 2.0 XP or the 3dhq 1.09 beta 10 to have if it solves you the problem.vvvv
