Hello fellow 3dFx fans,

Well, another year has passed and our Voodoo hardware is ageing, but still going strong of course!!!!

I'm just curious if anyone has "lost" their voodoo cards due to hardware failures and which sort.

This might help everyone preserve their cards better if there was something that could of been avoided.

For example, all my voodoo cards are all going strong...and I only blew up a Voodoo1 years ago because of my stupidity trying to overclock it

My XP home Collection...

Voodoo2 8Mb + Nvidia FX5200, Intel PIII-1.13Ghz, MS-6315
Voodoo5 5500 MAC PCI SLI, Intel PII 400, Intel P6LX-A+
Voodoo2 12Mb (SLI) + Geforce2 MX400, AMD K6-III+ 600Mhz, Jetway ALI 542C
Radeon 9250, Intel PIII 1Ghz, ABIT BE6
Radeon 9200SE, AMD K6-III+ 550Mhz, PC PARTNER VIA MVP3
Geforce 7800 GO, Centrino Duo 2.16Ghz, Dell Inspiron 9400

My Voodoos are working still as...Voodoos
Of course, I don't overclock those cards.

Bye Bye

Dead? Far from it! 2006 was a special year for me because I finally own a Voodoo5 6000. She and all other Voodoos run fine and still kick ass.

Greetings from Germany,
Raff

Well, only one of my voodoos(v3 3k) are still in "active duty", though, can't remember last time i ran 3d on it. Others are resting in pile of hardware. So pretty much voodoos live only in my memories ;)
