Hi looks like latest Voodoo 5500 driver for XP called amigamerlin-winxp-31_r11 can do things that none of the latest V5 Windows 98 SE drivers can is that normal?

Hi I have a V5500 (actually 10 of them for the future to still be able play war games of that era) Anyhow my P3 1.1 ghz V5500 plays all my war games and flight simulators perfect, except Strike Fighters or know as SFP1 and WOV= Wings over Vietnam and WOE= Wings over Europe all based off of the original SFP1. The Voodoo 5 works great for SFP1 patched to SP2. But the radar does not work right(white circle) when patched to Sp3+ same for WOV and WOE. This is a know problem except we just discovered it will all work fine with XP and the latest drivers amigamerlin-winxp-31_r11?

This tells me that XP drivers are way ahead of Win98SE? I have installed every latest drivers for V5 Windows 98 SE out there, they make no difference the radar is always white for WOV and WOE, but yet another guy with XP has it all working with XP.

Anything I am missing or is this a know fact?

How much money would it cost to have some voodoo 5500 win 98se drivers to the same thing the XP ones are doing?

Thanks for any info!
