Athlon 2400+ 768mb RAM
Voodoo 3 3000 PCI /w/ SFFT 40
Low Quality ~ 2fps to 24fps

Impressive! I didn't try the game with my V3 because of the texture limitation to 256x256. And the black objects on your shots look exactly like lacking of textures ...

Which Voodoo3 is it? AGP or PCI? Maybe I'll try it on my V3 AGP @ 200 MHz and CPU @ 2,6 GHz.

this is not a problem with texture resolution.when you run HL2 in low detail settings,all textures are 256*256 or lower.this is a texture format issue-check the console,you will see an error message,something like failed to create dx8 texture-format not supported or similar..
